What We Believe
In God. We believe that there is one God, creator and sustainer of all life. He exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and, Holy Spirit.
In Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son. We believe that Christ died for the sins of all people and is the only ransom through which forgiveness is obtained. God raised Him from the dead and He now intercedes for us. There is only one gospel and only one Savior, Jesus Christ.
In the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Holy Spirit, God alive and active in the world. Through Him, Christ lives in all believers. Conviction of sin, faith in Christ, new birth, and discipleship are all His work. Only by His power is the gospel proclaimed and our witness validated.
In the Bible. We believe that the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, is the only written Word of God, divinely inspired, truthful, and authoritative in its entirety, without error in all it affirms. It is the only rule and standard for godly living.
In Humankind. We believe that humans were created in the image of God and in perfect relationship with Him. That relationship was severed through sin. Reconciliation of humankind to God is only accomplished in accepting the saving grace offered in the cross of Jesus Christ
In Christ's Return and Victory. We believe that Jesus Christ will physically return to earth in power and glory to judge all people, giving eternal reward and punishment. He will establish His kingdom and Satan will be forever defeated.
